A dream I had last night

Last night I awoke laughing from a dream that looked like this.
I painted it as soon as I woke up.

New Hillary Clinton Army 2016 HQ?

With a little work, these Bisbee mystery domes may just have the right retro-futuristic-chic look we love!

Supporters of Mayor Badal Oppose the Recall

Supporters of Mayor Badal Oppose the Recall

Let's stand together in support of Mayor Adriana Badal.
We are fortunate to have such an energetic, competent, and approachable advocate for Bisbee.  Mayor Badal has injected into city government the leadership and new thinking that Bisbee has needed for years.
In the short time she has occupied her office, Mayor Badal has met with constituents hundreds of times and has held numerous town hall meetings throughout Bisbee to listen to constituents’ concerns, to develop initiatives to improve Bisbee’s quality of life, and to increase revenue opportunities for the City.  She has formed a Cochise County – Sonora Border Mayors’ Coalition to seek ways to increase trade and tourism for the area.  She has taken positions on controversial subjects that placed Bisbee on the map.
She has formed a Citizens’ Sustainability Committee to explore ways to strengthen Bisbee’s future through culturally and environmentally sound programs.  She has met with outside experts to explore the filmmaking future for the City.  Mayor Badal was recently appointed by Congressman Ron Barber to serve on his Women’s Leadership Council that will provide a voice in Washington on issues that matter to Bisbee.
She is leading the effort to retain the operation of the Queen Mine Tour that employs 13 people and is a major tourist attraction of the City.
These are just a few examples of her accomplishments and commitment to serve EVERY resident in Bisbee.  This is leadership that we can count on.
Mayor Badal is doing what she promised during her mayoral campaign.  She was elected by a vast majority to improve our financial situation, our business climate, our reputation and our quality of life.
Our town has been struggling financially and a recall election can cost between $7,000 and $11,000.   Additionally, it is unlikely that the election would be held before spring of 2014.   There is a scheduled election in the fall of 2014 – why spend City dollars when the opportunity to elect a new Mayor is presented just months later?
