The New Cleopatra Lounge so far...

Plans for the Cleopatra Lounge include astro-turfing a large majority of floor space.

Around the edges, grass, mushrooms and flowers will grow.

Turtles, butterflies and catapillars will wander.

Speaking of pillars, we drew up plans on the chalk board for on site an ancient ruins.

and moving in the gold.

Bisbee Plein Air Painting

The Plein Air Painting Competition is over, and everyone is taking a breather.....phew!

It's an intense weekend, full of crazed painters gobblling up as much of Bisbee scenery as we possibly can.

I won second on "The People's Choice" Award with this painting of Marsha's garden.

Although it's not big money, in my opinion "The People's Choice" is the most rocking award.

Marsha bought this one, thanks Marsha!

I sold this painting too. In a year when people just aren't buying art as much, this is a good thing.

It' s my opinion that The Bisbee Plein Air Painting needs a wine garden. We need to lubricate

people's wallets.

Afterwards, it seems the whole town broke out in spontanious dance parties everywhere we went! Be it Seth's expresso bar ( where we danced to 80's music for a set) The Screaming Banshee Pizza ( where we took it over and danced for hours), or Hot Licks (where we danced all night long!) I love Bisbee!

Goldfinger

We covered a lot of wall-space with a lot of gold yesterday at the glamorous Cleopatra Lounge at Central School Project.

Five gallons of gold, two gallons of silver... and we're still not done.

But gold is so decadent, and everything simply must be gold.

Oh look who's back! It's our long-lost friend "Sister Golden hair, Surprise!"

And what are these exquisite gold gifts she is bearing?

More gold to come!

The NEW Cleopatra Lounge

My eyes have just beheld for the first time....The New Cleopatra Lounge at the Glamorous Central School Project.

I've got the key and am ready to get my gold on.

The view is insane...

I will be looking for pillars, statues, fountains, divans, and glamorous furniture.

I will be seeking all things gold.

There will be a secretary named Ivy to handle calls, appointments etc.

So much to do!
