Back around 1990, we started a band on Martha's Vineyard Island called Diarrhea Roses.
Our band had around around 6 lead singers, and around 5 musicians.
We were a party band with loads of costume changes and an emphasis on performance art. Thanks to Dave Smilie, this music has not been flushed down the toilet bowl of forgotten history, but has made available to listen to on line. Here's a few songs for your listening pleasure!
Put on your rainbow disco afro and check out my "one hit wonder" with Diarrhea Roses, Mommy Salami!
Here's one of my personal faves by Jamie Alley, called "Lost in Space Rap". Jamie really gets his Lost in Space nerd groove on here!
Check out our classic epic anthem by the Roses.
Chris and Robert Brophy really shine on this masterpiece we call "Le La La ( Superstar Revolution)!
The Diarrhea Roses are: Jon Baer, Chris Brophy, Jamie Alley, Robert Brophy, J Buster, Rusty Gordan, Brian Desh, Gretchen Baer, Chris Baer, Karen Loftus, Michael LaBonte. Special guest Dave Piccandra. If I've forgotten anyone, please let me know!
Here's some crazy mixed up videos for you!
Rember how I used your MOMMY SALAMI song to win MZ OLE BIZ the first time. The name haunted me for a good 10 years, but now has died down to past history. This music was fab in it's day and still is now!
