Paintings from Costa Rica

After all our stuff got stolen in Costa Rica, I went to the hardware store and bought some housepaint, spray paint, and brushes.
I had the hardware store guy cut a piece of thin plywood into 18 pieces, 16" by 16".
I brought my supplies back to the hotel and went to find a place to paint on the premises.
Strangely, I hadn't noticed the Mardi Gras float before, and no one else had either.
Here's the paintings I did in the next couple of days. The subjects are lost luggage, Doug Stanhope and his butt, "The Luna Lounge"Mardi Gras float, and the beautiful view.

  2. My favorites are the Luna Lounge ones, and Doug's butt. Well done! Oh and Pat says she's in for 2012 Jan 2 Day. She wants to reserve that blonde wig she wore on 2011 Jan 2 day because it looked so good on her.

  3. It did indeed look good on her, if not that wig ( which I am partial to) one much like it!

  6. Wow! These are all beautiful! (Even Stanhope's butt!). I'm just now checking your blog, but, it was worth the wait! Now, I feel drenched in luscious color and inspired once again! Yeah!

    Welcome home!
