Last day in Hilton Head

I just finished signing paintings, so everything is all done and put away.

The paintings will hang in the studio for a few weeks to dry.

Here's one last painting I did at the end of the day yesterday, just to use up paint and canvas.

This has been a fabulous experience, and an interesting experiment to see what painting on location in oils is like. I say, yes, yes, yes.... more please!

Painting Superfoods

Day one of painting, and it's lots of fun here on Hilton Head.

I'm painting "superfoods", foods that have a super-high nutrient content and contain super-powers from outer-space.

These are Chef C's most important ingredients for her frozen yogurt shop, "Deliseee Yo"that opens on Saturday.

Here's what I painted today...

Indian coconut

Himalayan goji berries

Cacao

Yes, I actually painted a kokopelli. Cathryn is really into them, and strangely, I enjoyed painting it.

Go figure!
