Painting John Doe

Last week I had the amazing opportunity to paint the legendary John Doe.

I have been a huge fan of X, John Doe and Exene for almost 30 years, so needless to say, this was a momentous experience for me!

Seldom does one get the opportunity to meet someone so self-realized, intelligent, humble, kind, and fun.

Meeting John has made me aware that I need to take everything up a notch.

I need to read more books, expand my thinking, become a better painter, challenge myself,

try harder.
